new 6000

i just got a new 6000 today. is there any difference one made before dec 31 06 and a new one?? i got an impeller with brakes for one and i also got 2 of the parts that fits behind the shaft. i think its the magnetic rotor.. it has the red o ring and sits in the deepest part of the housing

also the plastic on the old one was a dark black and the new one is a sort of deep brown. not that it matters at all. just wondering

any thoughts

The new ones would be black with a one piece drive unit, besides that nothing should be different. The drive units are interchangeable.
