I just bought 2 rio 1400ul powerheads. What is the best placement, direction of the duckbill, and height in the tank? My tank is a 75g.

Theres no set way of putting them. Just arrange them so there is flow throughout your entire tank.

Or search RC for pictures of other peoples tanks to see how they have them.

try backwall, corners. angle towards front glass at 45-60 degrees.

where's your overflow or return flow? You could aim them at that to get some turbid flow and break up the surface tension at the top for O2 exchange.
