My Firefish has been in QT as a preventative measure for 5 weeks. He's been in hyposalinity for this time. I just started raising the salinity back to normal in preparation for adding him to the display. About three days ago I started to notice the spot on his bottom fin. I then noticed these small cotton spots on his left front fin. Could this be Lymphocystis? He's been eating well and acting normal. Just the spots. Sorry for the poor pic. I couldn't get the booger to stay still for me to get his left fin.
If it is Lymphocystis, from what I've read there's not much you can do about it and it will go away. It does look a little better today. Should I wait for this to clear up before adding him to the display?
