Problem hooking up my euroreef

Hey!! Well i got my skimmer today and it looks great and i cant wait to take her for a spin... I am having one problem hooking everything up though. To be honest i have had a drink or two so that could be the problem. Anyways its a rs135. I cant seem to be able to hook the pump to the skimmer body. It seems the elbow coming out of the skimmer for the return is blocking me from hooking the elbow of the pump to the skimmer. Any tips?

I had same prob with my rs135, the elbow and connector on the skimmer can be adjusted, I gently pulled the connector out a little bit to give me more room to work with, the elbow disconnects from the connector and can also be adjusted, just be gentle, so you don't crack your new skimmer!
