Just got a 110CR-F1000 Calcium Reactor. Since I couldn't get the H&S media, I got some Gen-X media. I hope I didn't make a bad choice. Anyhow, how do I go about setting this thing up? It's plumbed up, all I need to do is connect the CO2 tank now. How many bubbles should I start with? PH of 6.2 in the reactor sound good? Thanks in advance for the help.

Fishboarder.
At this time, we are not able to get the media from Germany until Fish and Wildlife gives us the OK. The Gen-x media will work great for you and is very similar. I would generally start with about 30drops/min for the water output, and about 30 bubbles/min of co2, and then adjust after about 2 to 3 days after testing to see where you are at in the tank. If you need additional suggestions for your specific Ca/KH demand just let us know.
Thanks,
Brian
