What type of cement is recommended to use when installing Black Bulkheads (not sure what they are made of) to white PVC tubing? I know I can use the PVC primer and cement for all of my other joints but I'm not sure what to use for the joint where the white PVC tubing goes into the Bulkhead.

Thanks,
Dave:confused:

If you want a seal, but the availability to easily take it apart, wrap a few turns of Teflon tape around the end of the pipe and just friction fit it in. It makes it so easy to put together and take apart later for cleaning/modification.

I've done this method on all my bulkhead connections and have never had a leak... but then again, I've only used this on low/non-pressurized areas like drains and inside tank/sump/fuge plumbing... one day I'll get brave enough to try it on higher pressure connections like external closed loops.
