Is nori alone enough for tangs, rabbit fish?

I have a few tangs and a foxface. I usually alternate between green and brown sheet algae for feedings. Is this really all they need to be healthy?

Powder blue tang
yellow tang
regal tang

I feed my tangs nori and some meaty food from time to time.

My tangs are fed Nori about every day. They also eat anything else that hits the water.

Second that! My tangs will take even take shrimp. They will also take other greens (organic mixed salad greens)....

I feed my Tangs nori every doa or two, but they are hungry as hell when I put mysis, brine or even shrimps into the tank. They steal the shrimps from the brittle stars.

I have been wondering this also.
They obviously eat meaty foods but I thought they are supposed to be herbivores?

I'd feed them a good flake food as well, something from ocean nutrition or omega one....

My Kole Tang gets mysis, brine, asst. flakes, seaweed, occasional clams, and krill. I think a varied diet keeps them healthy and happy!!

hello! I have ten tangs and all they eat is seaweed. For years now.They will eat anything that hits the water . Except for my SOHAL He will only eat seaweed.
