Hi,
I am starting a collection of rare and exotic colored Zoanthids and lately the LFS near me just haven't been bringing in anything that i am looking for. Do any of you know of any online stores that sell rare and exoyic colored zoanthids? If so could you please post a link?
I appreciate any and all help.
fragglereef.com **********s.com and check the divers den on liveaquaria.com
Hope you find what your looking for!

Try to get in with some local reefers or a local reef group.

You could also go to the site that started the whole naming Zoas tread we are seeing now.
http://www.thesea.org/index.php
I have purchased Zoas from him, and they are still all doing good. I got them from him like 3 years ago I think.
He has a bunch of sub sites now, the one where you can buy things from is

Hmm, that thread search posts threads that are all over 2 years old, maybe you have something a little more up to date.
I think he has forums on that site where there would be more current info.

The point of the threads is "Stay away from Blaine and Farms of the sea"......Look at some sponsors or the vendor sales and reefer sales section....

Not sure if you are interested in trading.... club zoa does a lot of trades between its members... some of them also sell when their tanks need more room... and many of them have quite a collection going...
I haven't done a trade there yet... but am thinking about it... as they all post feedback on each other... and it's always positive for the most part....

Again thanks to everyone for chipping in and helping. I am not really looking to trade only because i don't know how to frag my zoas and they really aren't that big. Well a few are big but for the most part they are small colonies.
Thanks again!

bignick,
I live about 30 min. from Palatine and am also interested in rare/unusual zoo's. Maybe we can split orders to save on shipping as well as frag larger colonies.
PM me if interested.

Local reefers and threads on RC would be the cheaper route.

nobody mentioned

They are a sponser to RC and you can get 12 nice zoa frags for $99.

I know that Matt over at reefready.net has some rare Zoanthids (Envy Orange, AOG, etc). I just picked up some Tubs Blue Zoanthids from him and they look great in my tank.

Tankfly,
That is by far the best site I have seen for zoos. You just made me spend $300.

No more money:( I told myself I wouldn't put anymore on my credit card this month but I wanted some of those zoos soo bad. I just put a few in the shopping cart then a few more after a while I was close to $300 for free shipping, so I said "what the heck might as well get the free shipping.":D
WWW.marineflora.com is one I was looking at previously, they have some pretty good stuff to.
