I'm using a RMA-22 Drywer air meter to measure the air intake for my external A150.

The meter jumps from 5 to 9 lpm. Basically, the dial seems to stay around 6 most of the time and jumps from 5 to 9. I haven't seen any improvement with pinching the air line and get the most air with the air intake wide open. Does this seems normal?

Do I take the value of the high range? 9 LPM or 540 LPH?

This is pretty much what mine said. Do a search of king1522 on the H&S site and you will find a thread entitled "Now I'm really confused". I thougt it should be about 15, but found out the f150 is only about 6. At least that's what I think I concluded.

Don,
Thanks for the response. This afternoon, I ran a bit of RO/DI warm water through the air line and the range went up to 10 (now 5-10) and the skimmer is performing better.

I did clean the impeller and the shaft recently, but forgot to disconnect the air line to ensure there are no obstructions. I will be doing that very soon.

One thing about feeding the skimmer from the overflow, is that it takes more to maintain the skimmer in top condition. Since more organics and particulates collect inside, etc.
