DIY Canopy question

Working on a canopy for my 225. I will be using 250w HQIs and T-5s. The question is the use of refelctors in the canopy for the MH lights.
Would it be better to use a reflector only, like a Lumenarc Stealth or simply incorporate a complete pendant into the canopy design?

Not looking to start a wich brand is better discussion.
