Not sure on the first.. looks like an aggregate of several algaes growing together. Second photo looks like Caulerpa racemosa, or a similar species. Aka "grape Caulerpa".

The 1st is Hair Algae, the 2nd Grape Caulerpa....Just thought i would share some pics :)

You may already be aware but if the caulerpa in a coral display, or a display for something other than macroalgae then you will want to keep it under control with regular pruning or get rid of it alltogether. If left unchecked it will take over, and become even more difficult to erradicate.

I know...once a month i take out as much as i can get. I hate this stuff and wish i could take it out completely but it's on a piece of LR covered in corals...
