it shouldn't be a problem at all assuming your clam is healthy.

Thanks! it is responding to light, movement etc and was fine up util the accident!

Did some research. Gigas have two holes. The middle one usually doesnt look as "sunk" as mine (mine is probably still mad about the rock incident). see pic.
