Picked up a new Clarki today. He is about 2 inches long.
Added him in hopes he would mate up with my year and a half old female.
So far so good.

She has been bossing him around. He has been doing the sideways twitch. She is not being overly rough on him but wont tolerate him near them nems so far.
Here is a pic of the little darling. Well best as I can get with the camera I have.

And him by solo. Keeping my fingers crossed that the female will learn to love the little guy.

Congrats Omni. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for you and you don't have too many issues if any at all. Good luck.

Dido, the waiting game is always the toughest part about this hobby. Good luck think they will get along just find.

Update :)

This morning after the actinics came on...they are snuggling (can fish snuggle?) together.
She is no longer chasing him away from the nem and they are hanging together. He seems content to follow her around and all is well!

I will try to get a decent pic of them together and post it later today when the lights are brighter.

Pics from this afternoon.

After this no more updates unless something major happens.

The nem is a purple tip that I am nursing back from the dead.
I will post progress on it in the bleach to healthy thread if it makes it. So far it has moved from the shade into the light and is eating very small bits of raw shrimp.

Lol also if you look closely right at the tail of the small male? In the first picture. See the little white dot?

That is the eye of a bi color blenny. He found a hole in the top of that rock and claimed it as his own.

The Clarki tried ONCE to make him move....the blenny promplty put her on the run!
Cracked me up! nearly fell outs my chair laughing.
