i ran one of these (96watt quad 50/50) for several yearsm they work great for softies and some lps and even some sps like monties, its a great fixture for the money..
on con, lots of wattage but not as much PAR, coral colors can be better, heat..
the down side is that with 50.50 you cant have sperate control over 10k and actinic, and the width of the quad reduces the effectiveness of the reflector
