upvc?

Hi, can someone tell me if normal upvc waste pipe inch & half from home depot be ok to use as plumbing and what make of solvent to use?

I use the drinking-water pipe and standard cement on it with no problems Waste pipe and the standard cements for that likely are fine as well, although I wouldn't put any pressure on them.
