Brad,

I have looked at all your photos and I am not sure what you are looking at.

Could you post a jpeg here with an arrow to it or something else to indicate it?

:D

I've been told it's dinoflagellates. It's like brown stringy stuff that bubbles stick to. Got a 1/2 liter of phosguard going in a mag 350 but dunno if it'll help if the phosphate is tied up in the algae. Any thing else I can do?
Thanks

Hi,

Get a good nutrient export program going, probably raising some macroalgae to harvest and remove it is the best way.

Some small "spotted" conchs (Strombus maculatus) are good herbivores on this stuff.

Looked around but can't find a place that sells the strombus. Any sources?
Thanks
