that first skimmer is the DAS EX-1 ;)

That is an awesome skimmer.

Also they have the wrong pump listed. It comes with the aqua bee 2000/1.

Do you mean the same design as DAS or it is a DAS skimmer? The site says these skimmers are his own made skimmers?

No that is the DAS skimmer. Its pretty much a deltec apf600.

I would buy it from this site also since petorama[sp?] has really bad CS.

Wonder why he wouldn't label it as such? What is the second skimmer designed from?

i think its label. D.A. Needle Wheel Protein Skimmer. He just left the S off.


i'm not sure about the second design because all my research over the last couple of months went into recirc. skimmers.

I would go with the orca, the DAS is much smaller and the orca has a flanged top so easier cleaning. You could always recirc the orca later if you wanted to, but you would not need to.
