dark color with Foxfish Lo.

I have kept my foxface Lo. more than one week. It is very shy fish and hiding a lot. I found that its upper half back of its body becomes darker and darker. Is it because it still got scaried? Is it able to change back its color to yellow again?

They do change their colors. Mine is over 1-1/2 years in my tank and some days he's drab and otherdays he's colorful. A different one I had was always bright yellow, but he died suddenly after 2 months. It also took both of mine about a month, not to be scared and hide when I came in the room. So, it sounds completely normal.
