Thinking about breeding dottybacks does anyone know how to make a reliable kriesel for the eggs, thanks in advance.

Contact papagimp. He just did some searching and got some decent results. I'm sure he'll be willing to share what he found with you.

you don't need a kriesel to hatch dottybacks, just a artemia hatcher or inverted soda bottle.

Thanks for the response Travis n Ed, will contact papapimp, Ed how does the inverted coke bottle work?

Do you place an airline at the bottom with rigid pipe and cut the bottom of the bottle off, or do you supply air and water, tried the brineshrimp hatcher with Banggai eggs and within 24hrs the were mush!!!! Am I going wrong somewhere, the eggs always seem to get caught somewhere will Dotty eggs react diferently????????? There seems to be a fine line between eggs gettin stuck and just floating round all over the place!!!!

Maybe Im doing somethink obviously wrong, if so mybe you could expain how to set these 2 methods up, I'm like scartching my head???
Cheers Mokka

I never worked with bangers and don't know amything about it, Dottys eggs stay in a ball until they hatch, use an airstone at the bottom of the soda bottle at a medium to strong areation, if the air is not strong enough the eggs will not hatch.
