i have one of these i bought from a guy that owned for 2 months

i have to set the water level in the cup to almost the top to get any skimmate

any ideas i have cleaned the pump twice just to make sure

How are you feeding it? Do you have bubbles?

Every skimmer is different and I've never owned a H&S skimmer, but will be part of the club very soon as I'm looking into it right now. I've owned several other skimmers and I usually start about half-way up the riser within the collection cup, but on several H&S threads that I've read, it seems that within 1"-2" from the top of the riser works better for H&S skimmers. Hopefully, someone who owns a 110 could better help you.

Can you post pictures of your set-up, and a picture of the skimmer running. It sounds like you do have a dirty pump. When you cleaned the pump did you seperate the impeller from the shaft and soak seperate, or just soak the impeller in the pump?

well it skimmed it like crazy than stopped for a month


as soon as i posted the next day i had a full cup and has been skimming like crazy
