I think what people think of with Japanese style tanks is a very clean, rimless tank that is mostly SPS and lit by cool little spotlight MH bulbs.

OK, it like an extra tall lagoon, rimless, with canopy lights, and hidden glass overflow. I know Elos sells smaller setups similar to those. Got to sell your firstborn and pimp the wife to recoup the price....
