View Full Version : How to silence a modded ASM??

OK, I modded my ASM G3x with the mesh mod and enlarged the venturi intake, and it works awesome!

The problem is that the venturi intake is so much louder now (sucking in more air) and is bothersome, even from the next room!

Is there any way to make a silencer for the intake hose without affecting performance?

Any help and/or pics would be most appreciated.

I tried using the "search" feature but......yea.....right. Nothing but the "sorry try again later" screen.

I dont have the first hand experience with it yet but I'm told it works! Watch the video.

Ive built a silencer similar to the picture at the top of the page using 1/2 pvc and two plugs. It worked very well.

Thanks.

Was thinking of something similiar to that but was unsure if it would work.
