I have an AC II for years. Today I changed my ballasts to 3 400 watt EVC electronic ballasts. Know I was going to have problems I did not even try and control the ballasts with X-10s on the AC II. I was planning on buying either the DC 4s or noise filters. I plugged the ballasts into a different circuit. But as soon as I did , my temp reading on the AC II went nuts. Finally it settled down. But it seemed about 3-4 degrees low. But I attributed that to maybe the lights being off and having the hood open. Plus maybe less heat from the new ballasts. But as soon as I turned off those EVC ballasts tonight, the temp. reading jumped up 4-5- degrees. My chiller and cooling fans all came asap. Why would the ballasts on a separate line affect the temp. reading?
Plus since I have never used the DCs. How do they work with X-10s?

The controller will need to be modified with a filter unit on the temp circuit. Talk to curt to make the mod.
