Rics on sand

Hey all, I have been googling and noticed quite a few pics of people just having thier rics on the sandbed, Anyone on here do that?

i got alot of mine on the sand bed..prolly about 95%..an i got over 70..

Cheers Scott, so they just kinda attach to some sand then?

thier in my frag tank, an it crushed coral, they usally attach after a few days or a week then i glue to a frag plug..but thiers many different methods..but thats my faforite.. alot less stress an hassle for them an me..hehehe..
