dispar question

mine are dropping like flies, anyway i have 6 left(one sick and hiding) and there is one male
yesterday i noticed a female fighting with the male?? the female doesnt even have the pink face or bright red dorsal fin but it looks like she is causing my male dispar to hide, is this common??

also my male dispar was the boss of all the dispars and bartletts b4 this but now seems to be scared

They can sense weakness. If the male is sick, a female will be aggressive to him, regardless of color.
