is there enough light in the fowlr? clams are heavily photosynthetic. They are also fragile and don't deal well with the heavy levels of waste often found in fowlrs.

ya should be enough light. These clams do good under moderate light

I have a snowflake eel in my reef tank, there is a crocea clam in there. He doesn't touch it or anything else for that matter. I can't say about the shark, I doubt it and a lion shouldn't bother with the clam either. You should be good. Light would be your biggest problem, what are you running for lights? It also depends where the clam was taken from. Crocea clams are supposed to need the best light, but mine lived under PC for months at a LFS. Been doing fine for a few months under a small PC light and a non HO T5 light.

I wouldn't worry about the lion. No way will it be able to eat it unless its a small clam (less than half the lions size) and even then i doubt it. hard shelled food is generally ignored by lions. lions are poisonous but only their dorsal spines. unless your lion passes the time upside down, the clam won't get stung.

be careful with your shark and the lion they tend to lead to dissapointing results.
