I'm having trouble.. i think i have too much flow in my tank.. i can't find a spot for my torch. everywhere i place it it just gets hits hard with the water flow. i have a maxijet 900 and a penguin 2300 (800 (600 gph,). anyone here have any ideas?

Keep relocating the coral and/or poweheads/filters until you get a combo that works. keeping a torch in higher flow can hurt em after a long enough bombardment. That penguin, if it's pushing 600gph, is enough for the torch in itself. May wanna consider a smaller HOB filter or none at all and allow the liverock to filter. Use a prefilter on the maxijet instead and keep that cleaned regularly. Or if you have a sump set up, stick the penguin down there to still get the filtering but not the flow on the torch. Just some thoughs. I'm fighting with my torch as well for a good spot. All my frogspawns have taken the good realestate.
