We rec'd a shipment last week but all of them were used to fill preorders. We have only 2-4 pumps on the pre order list as of today.

If I preorder it do I have to pay in advance? I am hesitant about paying for something new in advance with out seeing it. BTW the Tunze Nano skimmer I got from you a week ago was the best investment I have made so far

Do not need to pay in advance. We will notify you when it arrives and you can come pick it up and pay then.
I like the Tunze Nano skimmer myself. Very nice little skimmer!

on a 15g one 6025 should be plenty if you will have sand
and you could push it to two pumps if you want more flow and have BB

No news yet. I expect more anytime now, though. Wow! Not really sure on the 6045 on a 15 gal. What are the dimensions of the tank?

I will play around with one at the store and let you know in a day or so if I think it will work. My initial feeling is the 6045 would be create a very nice flow for SPS.

oldreefer in a BB tank 6045 would be perfect you wont have any deadspots and it is not too much flow i dont think.

Roger from Tunze says it will be to much flow, I am not to sure my self as I am already running 800+ gph with 4 different power heads in the tank am anxious to see what Dans findings are, especially when I am looking to upgrade to a 30 cube in 6 mos or so

Oldreefer, stop in the store sometime and we will fill a 15 gal tank and put a 6045 in it. You can take a look and see what you think. I played around with one in the store but it is hard to judge because tanks I have them in are a little bigger.

Dan hold a 6045 for me, we will probably come in on Friday to see how it performs in 1 of your tanks I think I already have a spot figured out for it in my tank, but would love to see what kind of flow it really provides, I already have 800+ gph in the tank and have deadspots

It is definite we will be in Tomorrow 4/20/07 and see what the 6045 will do in a 15g most likely will be after 5pm

Just my 2 bits, but I have two 6025 and the wavebox in my little cube - just for kicks. The 6025s are pointed at the rock scape, while the wavebox has a clear shot to the other side of the tank. With the 25s hitting the rock, the flow is pretty disbursed. As long as it's not hitting a coral directly - it should be fine. The wavebox doesn't do much for the tank since it is small, I plan on replacing it with a 6055 as soon as Dan gets it in. Plus I'll throw a 6045 on my seaswirl (I modded it to have a little holder for the 45). The tank is only 20 x 20 x 12.
