b/c your plants were consuming the phosphate. Now the phos-zorb is out-competing them for the phosphate.

If you wanted you plants to grow and they were, why did you want to get rid of the phosphates? Most people get rid of it in order to reduce unwanted algae growth.

I'm not sure what plants your talking about, but most will end up growing out of control if your phosphate levels are too high. It is probably a good thing that they shrunk down a bit.

Thank you for your reply. I have a 14 gl. bio-cube. My instant ocean test kit indicated I had a reading of 0.8 - 1.0. I took a sample to the nearest store and the owner of the place advised me to use the phos-zorb, now my only 4 fishes are hiding in the rocks and like I told you the plants have shrunk. What shall I do?

is it a planted tank? what plants do you have?
