Hi,

Nightmode works with the photocell attached to the unit to slow down the pumps when the lights go out. This gives the "calm" night effect.

The moonlight works on a 29 day lunar cycle. This will simulate how the moon shines on a real reef.

Check out the Tunze forum here on RC with lots of information on the single/multi-controller.

Ask the question in the Tunze forum (Sponsor section of this site). You will get more answers.

Short answer with night mode, you can set the parameters of your streams to reduce power for a more gentle flow automatically when activated by your photocell (when lights turn off).

Moonlight is just a "night light" to simulate the moon.
