collecting coral from the bahamas

I am taking a trip on a privte boat. Does anyone know how to get permits to collect zoas and ricordea?

Good luck even finding any... I was there in March, not much in the zoa/ric dept plus everything is pretty browned out. Also most Caribbean countries are pretty strict about no collecting.

And you will probably need some documentation when bringing it back in.

Would be easier to just collect them in the keys with a rec. fishing license.
