I am setting up a 90 to be used for sps predominately. My question is what type of paint I can use and not worry about toxicity. Any help will be welcomed.

PS: Am looking for stand paint as well as painting glass.

you would probably have better luck placing this in the diy forum

Last time I check this was the DIY forum

I know for the back of the tank... use something made for plastics. Krylon Fusion is good for back of the tank or any PVC that will be in the water. With the parts that will be in the water just make sure they get a full 24hrs+ to dry. I just used Rust-Oleum for Plastics spray paint on the back of my tank, it came out fine after a couple coats.

For the stand... I havent used it yet on my stand but I'm almost positive you can use any kind of paint. Then use a wood sealer for the top coat.

If I'm wrong someone please correct me

I thought you were just really out of it ;) yea that does happen at times but i checked first to be sure that i didnt mess up and it is still in the sps forum to but says moved next to it. usually the mod who moved it will put something to let you know it was moved but they didnt this time so it was confusing and i thought i did loose my mind till i double checked

HA! That's what I used on my first tank and it's lasted longer than any of them. :D
