Anyone knows any shallow dive sites in Puerto Rico? Will be going diving with my wife but she just like doing shallow dives below 40 ft. Any info will be great.

I'm not sure where you are staying but I stayed at the El Conquistador and snorkled off their private island, Palomino Island. A good portion of the island is surrounded by reefs and it is approx. 30 feet deep at most. The snorkeling was great so I would guess that scuba diving would be excellent in that area.

I went snorkeling off of escambron right in San Juan...Not bad but not the best. If you want a good place to snorkel in PR follow i believe 55?? down to Salinas. There is an island of the coast right there in Salinas. Best snorkeling I have ever been at!!!

I used to live there in the early 90's. I used to go out on my dads friend's 32 foot hunter sail boat for 3-4 days quite often. I have been to culebra, vieques, palmino, palominito, icacos, and many more islands around there. Icacos is probably the best one I have been to. The reefs there are amazing! You really cant go wrong with any little island out there. I havent been there in about 7-8 years. I dont really like mainland PR but the ocean is awesome.

Vieques is very good. I you travel out to Roosevelt Roads (the naval air staion) there are tons of very good shallow dive sights. Everything you could imagine there.
