I have a new coral beauty that is not eating, he have been in the tank for a week and he is just eating from the rocks. I am worry, I think is going to die soon. I am mixing some garlic extreme with the food to make him eat but is not working. What can I do?

Is he in your 29 gallon tank? It will be hard for him to survive in that tank. They are finicky eaters until acclimated, and need a mature reef to graze off the rock in the tank. Didn't you also add a mandarin? You have picked several fish that rely on a mature, larger tank for survival.

The coral beauty was on my dads tank, on a 90 galons tank. The fish was a gift for him.

If your dad's tank has plenty of live rock and is a mature tank, I wouldnt' worry as much about him eating prepared foods. The coral beauty can sustain itself on grazing until it is ready to take prepared foods.
