Hi, I myself keep the temperature between 74-77 degrees in my reef tank, is a temperature of 77-80 better or worse for the tank, what is your temperature and why do you keep it at that level, let the fun begin.:smokin:

I've always read to keep the reef at 78-82. My heater keeps it at 78 at night and when the halides come on it rises to 82 in the day.

I target 80 to 81 degrees, but it gets warmer in the summer. My corals look better at that temp.

I keep mine at 80-81F controlled with my Aquacontroller Jr. Keeps it rock solid day to night. ;)

Its not bad. Mine is at 75-76 in the night. When my lights come back it's at 77-78.

As long as the temperature is stable, its fine. Try to stay within 2ยบ total range... Stability is more important than leaving your tank at X-Y temperature.
