Critters in refugiums?

So I was curious about this. I am just about to build a refugium (capacity about 4 gallons) in my sump. Once in there, I will be growing (among other things) macroalgae. Unfortunately I'll probably be growing some microalgae here and there too along with having some detritus settle.

So since I'm about to do a mass reef janitor order soon, I was curiousl if I shouldn't get some nassarius and astreae snails to keep the refugium nice and clean?

Thoughts?

i havea couple turbos in mine, i have no hair algea in my main tank but my fuge gets tons of it. they take care of it.
