I recently bought a css 125 off of here and USPS busted it in shipping, so I couldnt find weldon but found a very strong adhesive called WELDER at Home depot. Well I welded it back together and the hold is unbelivable I tug filled with water shook around and pulled as hard as I can and it didnt budge. My question is can it hurt or leach anything back to my tank? Chemicals in it are TOLUENE CAS 3108-88-3. MAX VOC 420 GRAMS/LITER. This is how it wrote on the back of the box. I'm going to call the company tomarrow and ask, but I think they will say "this is not for aquariums" atleast just to protect them selves. So I was woundering if anyone knows anything about it. Thanks for your responses in advance.

Toluene is quite nasty, so hard to say if it's okay once dry...

not feed for live stock ha ha :) feedstock means it a raw material used in manufacturing.

you should be fine. its the solvent. most of it should have evaporated as the glue dried.

I told you I didnt know what it meant. LOL Well I called the maker and they said it will break down in water and release chemicals. So I pulled untill it came apart and finnaly got it apart got all the glue off and found a guy in the next town over with weldon #4 he welded it but on the drive home it came apart so I gave up and took it to the post office and they said they'll take care of it. I hope they do.
