Can anyone tell me where i can order lugols? id like to dip some zoos and i hear lugols is good to add.

I would check your LFS first. You could do a local search via google and type in your city, or you could order from www.premiumaquatics.com

I would really focus on a local purchase instead of paying shipping charges for such an inexpensive item. Unless of course you plan to order other items along with it.

geoxman, how many drops would you use if the tincture to say a gallon of r/o?

you are trying to kill things!! I do about 40 per 1.5-2gl. I just make sure the water is a light tan/yellow color. I quit dropping years ago and just pour, but 40 sounds right
I never use RO for dips. The PH is lower and a little chlorine never hurt a closed up polyp but mixed with iodine it will do a # on pest's.
I have also blasted new frags directly under tap with the right temp for a few minutes. good luck

Thanks for the info geoxman. got a few more questions......how long should i let it sit before i start swishing it around? and should i rinse it in fresh water before putting back into my tank?
