RO/DI & auto shut off

I installed my filterguys Reef 2 system this weekend. Seems to be working fine. The TDS meter reads 4 to 6 on pre-di and 0 post di. I am suprised at the amount of waste water but I am assume this is normal? I think I am getting much more than 4 waste to 1 di water.

Also I have the auto shut off on the unit but do not have it hooked up at this point. Is there some diagrams available to show how this thing hooks up to some type of switch?

Norm if your system is running with 50 psi pressure or higher the waste always looks like more but is at 4:1. You can measure by using a quart and half qallon container on the product and waste line.
