White Rock?

I have noticed that after I did a water change some of my live rock turned white. Any one know why?

because air touched it.

my coraline turns white when air touches it too..like on the tops of my powerheads when i do water changes.

How long does it take for it to turn back to the normal coraline colors after this happens?
