View Full Version : Blue Stripped Rabbit
Any experience with them? I've been considering a scribbled for some time now (and will still get one for my next larger tank), but just got an opportunity to get a blue stripped rabbit instead. Very nice looking fish ... but
Are they reef safe?
I have Frogspawn, favia, trumpets and zoos that I don't want eaten ... (well maybe some of the zoos could go as a snack) ... this one is a confirmed shroom eater.
Here's the blue stripped rabbit.

Just to follow up for those interested, this rabbit does nibble on zoos as well. I was concerned that the zoos were taking over some spots of the live rock and I am not a huge zoo fan so it's OK. It likes the red and orange ones not the green ones. It has also nipped the trumpets but I don't think he likes them. He has also tried some sponge and I even saw him mouthing the linka, but no harm done.
I am not giving up as I think he may behave as he learns to feed with the others. He is so skittish, that he often he hides at feeding time and gets very little food. His comfort level is growing daily and the rabbit, fox face and yellow tang often graze together and quickly shoal up when startled.

I have a twin bar rabbit. They grow fast, are hogs at feeding time & it will soon be going back to the lfs where I bought it.
I think it is worth keeping
