I was wondering if there any good shapes for different things? I have been using the standard 1.25 top with .5 shaft style plug. I have seen them with plastic tooth picks, flat rocks, ext.

What are your experiences/choices with frag plugs?

i like 1inch top and a very small 1/2 inch nub to kinda hold it in place in the frag tanks ( long stems annoy me. and annoy alot of people when they go to mount it)

lately iv been trying a concave plug so that thecoral sits inside of a tub on the plug making no glue required in lower to med flow enviorments

but i also work the retail end of it. and the stores prefer disk to eliminate egg crate.. but then again they hate how easily they are pushed around by snails

I like frag disks because you can set them on crate or on the sandbed. If I am going to sell sps then I will use plugs because they fit into the crevices of the rocks.

You can use baby bottle nipples for the mold.

They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Works very well for in cracks/openings in rock.
