just removed 3 of these, possibly more in the tube. Ate gorgonians and discosomas. About 4" long. Thanks

could be a coral eating fireworm

Thanks. Thats the tubing they live in . I'm taking them to work tomorrow, and someone should know what they are.

It's not a fireworm at all. It's a species of Eunice which is broken into pieces. The part on the bottom is the hind end while the other one is the median portion of the worm. I don't see a head. The big eunicids are well known as predators on soft corals.

Its definitely a type of bristleworm, and one species you don't want in a reef tank
its a eunicid, dont kill it. send it to me ill pay
