I am replacing my VHO bulbs. I have a kit that included a reflector. Do I need to spend the extra money and get the bulbs that also have the 180 degree reflectors in them?

even when mounted in a reflector they produce more light to the tank with the built in reflective coating. if you have plenty of light you might not need them, if you want all the bang for the buck you can get on the lights get the ones with the built in as well as keeping your reflector shiny clean to boot.

Any opinions on the different URI's? 50/50, Aquasun, Actinic White?

Well...I want to avoid the pinkish color that I get with the Aquasuns. I'm thinking 2 Actinic R and 2 Actinic White 50/50's.
Do you have experience with the Actinic Whites vs. the Aquasuns?

i run Aquasun 10KKs and Actinic O3's in pairs and don't have any pinkish issues. i don't like the look of the 50/50s it's not the same as a mix of 1-1 Aquasun/O3 bulbs.
