I posted this under the fish fourm but also thought the guys here might shed some light on the subject since I have mostly SPS.

I was told by the guy at LFS that the Watanabe Angelfish is reef safe. Anyone have experience with them? I am looking to add one to my mixed reef 210G that is mainly SPS. I found a couple things online saying yes they are, but as you know they say that about alot of fish that are not reef safe. Any Help would be great. Thanks

I have a pair of blackspots. Completely reef safe. The only thing I have ever heard on RC was of a bellus, I believe, taking to an open brain.

Reef safe, pretty much open water feeders.. Had a female in my 280 for a bout 8 months till it mysteriously disappeared.

I have a 6" male on sps dominated reef tank. I have not seen it munch on sps but i did however take a nip at my zoos. only happens when I don't feed enough. so keep it fat and your corals should be fine.

I have a genicanthus semifasciatus and she is a sweetie. I have had her for going on a year and a half. Completely reef safe and my powder blue will only try to pick on her but ends up loosing that battle. They show off but no one is trying to hurt the other. Great fish and I'd give anything to find a male semi.

Diver's DEn had a male just a couple months ago. You might try contacting them for availability.
