nice lookin tank, but unfortunately like ionredline said, the tangs have GOT to go. Neither one is good in a 27g tank, much less 2 of them. If you want both together, i would say no less than 125g for the pair....definitely not 27 though.

What is the generally accepted (tang police evasive) minimum for most tangs?

A Petsmart equivalent near me keeps them in 10's!:(

They are just keeping them there for short periods of time.

The smallest tangs (yellows basically) i would not recommend putting in anything less than 75. Most get bigger.

As for the petsmart keeping them in tens....realize that they are selling them...they are gone in a very short time. Its not like they keep them there forever. As soon as someone buys them, they hopefully go to a much larger tank.

I kept a small (2") yellow tang in a 29 gal. for over a year before going to a 75 gal. He was very healthy and presumably happy in the 29. He did not have to compete in the 29 with too many other fish though. Just my 2 cents...
