So I was watching the local news last night and they had a short segment on this new LFS. The main attraction is a 5,000 Gallon black tip reef shark display with 3 sharks and an eel (if only I had $100K to spare!).
I had some free time to check it out today and I did. I was very impressed to say the least. The tanks are clean, the fish are in perfect health, and there wasn't a single aiptasia to be found! The prices are very good as well. My only complaint is that they could definitely have a better selection of corals. They do have a lot of rare fish though.
I wasn't going to buy anything but you know how that goes. I saw a tank where they had 3 helfrichi firefish. They were only $100 each so I had to buy one. I have 2 now and they get along really well. They are much more social together than I thought they would be (I'll post pics later). Anyways if you're in the sacramento area I strongly suggest you check it out!
