I just took down my 75 reef so I could move it to my new apartment.

I did a few cleaning sessions with it, painted the back black, et cetera, and was taking a look at the silicone on the edges. I know this is a primary structural area, and they seem to be getting torn up and ragged and close to the center.

Should I be looking at getting the tank (Oceanic) re-glued, or do you think I should be okay? I know it's a huge ordeal.

Let me know if you need anymore information.

Try and take a picture of the worst spot and post it here.

You definitely don't want the silicone to degrade. If it's eaten into the middle of the joints, then you might be ready for a repair/replacement.
