Will a sub-dominate Lineatus wrasse change to a dominate one in a tank setting?
Thanks

Depends on if you have another more dominant male in the tank it doesn't have to be a Lineatus, like lets say you have a Supermale Scotts fairy wrasse in the tank it will keep the sub-dominant male from getting the "supermale" colors. If its the only fairy wrasse in the tank he might turn into a "supermale" it will turn into the dominant if you have a female with him my Lineatus came in as a Sub-dominant male and when I got a female from him he really turned on the colors for her. I now have a Supermale, sub-dominant male, and 2 females in the tank and the Supermale just looks great.

Thanks, my lineatus seems to be the most dominate of my wrasses. We will see what happens. I'll also keep an eye out for a female.
