I have been battling whelks for about 2 years, it's killing me. Just about the time I think I have gotten them all another batch of offspring shows up.
I really don't like to kill things, but letting them go is not an option and my LFS sure isn't interested in housing them. I have noticed that a lot of people drop them into their refugiums.
Why do this? What possible benefit could they provide in my refugium?
